Behind the Lens
Photography has never just been something I do. It's something I've always known.
I'm a third-generation photographer, following a creative legacy that began with my grandfather. I picked up a camera at 14, and what started as a fascination quickly became a lifelong pursuit of capturing people, places, and moments worth remembering.
My journey began in the chaos of live music. When I was a teenager, I found myself photographing concerts, chasing the energy of the crowd, the emotion of a performance, and those fleeting moments that happen somewhere between the lights and the noise. It was fast, unpredictable, and exactly where I belonged.
That early passion eventually led me to study film and attend California State University, Northridge (CSUN), where I continued developing my understanding of visual storytelling. My background in filmmaking has shaped the way I approach photography today — with an eye for composition, atmosphere, and the stories that exist beyond a single frame.
Over the years, my work and creative interests have evolved, but the foundation has stayed the same: a fascination with people, authentic moments, and the art of telling stories through imagery.
Whether I'm capturing the energy of a live performance, the personality behind a portrait, or something entirely unexpected, my goal is simple: create images that make you feel something.
